We read interesting facts on social media every day. We don’t know who collects these strange and unusual facts, and we don’t know if they’re true. But we enjoy them anyway.

As a matter of fact, it is good to arm yourself with such (seemingly) useless knowledge so that you can ponder over it when someone starts talking politics or when you’re bored at work.

I, for one, love odd bits of trivia and would prefer it any day over bouts of ‘life hacks’ or trite inspirational quotes.

FactSlides is one of the websites I run to, for a quick hit of some kickass OMG facts.

The site is literally just slides of facts that sound complete BS sometimes but are actually true.

You can start the auto slider, set a time and sit back and read the endless stream of amazing facts presented as colorful and animated slides.

They claim that “all their facts are verified and well sourced.” They even provide a source URL at the bottom, leftmost part of the screen for each fact.
